Discover Kaş
Kaş – Kalkan’s Big Brother
About a 20 minute drive along the scenic coastal road from Kalkan, the town of Kaş can be found. The resort established itself in the 1960s and 1970s, first as a ‘hippie’ hangout and later, as an ideal stopping point for yachts and gulets on the Blue Voyage.

Kaş still retains its small-town charm, with narrow cobbled streets, plenty of restaurants, incredible coastal views, and some of the most beautiful and creative boutiques the Mediterranean has to offer.
The town itself is built around the remains of ancient Antiphellos, which left behind a few scattered rock tombs, a Greek theatre, and an monumental sarcophagus situated at the upper end of one of Kaş’s narrow shopping streets.
Kaş has several rocky beaches but they are quite small, however, the rock shelves (or ‘beach clubs’) are wonderful for sun and sea bathing. These are populated by cafes and restaurants which provide free loungers. In return you are expected (but not obliged) to buy drinks, snacks or food from them.
Kaş is also an optimal jumping off point for trips to Kekova, Myra, and some of the region’s best undiscovered mountain villages. The abundance of outdoor activities around Kaş has also helped maintain its reputation as a relaxed, satisfying, and generally inexpensive holiday destination.
